Valspar
Selects SigmaFlow’s Enterprise Performance Improvement Software
for Global Lean Six Sigma Deployment
PLANO, TEXAS - NOVEMBER
27, 2006
SigmaFlow, a leading provider
of Enterprise Performance Improvement Software for initiatives
like Lean Six Sigma, today announced that The Valspar Corporation,
a $ 3.0 billion global leader in the paint and coatings industry,
has selected SigmaFlow as the software solution for its global
Lean Six Sigma program. SigmaFlow will consolidate Valspar’s
company-wide Lean Six Sigma initiatives under a single umbrella
for project execution, deployment, management and reporting.
With Lean Six Sigma initiatives
in 13 deployments, Valspar’s challenge was to deploy a system
that will provide a common, structured work environment while
offering the flexibility required for global deployment. Valspar
selected SigmaFlow because it is the only solution with a web-based
executive information system that synchronizes with a template-driven
project workflow system.
“SigmaFlow’s Enterprise Performance Improvement Solution
is well-suited for complex global deployments like Valspar’s,”
said John Klein, Corporate Deployment Executive at Valspar. “The
solution allows us to easily populate project information from
multiple sources into the central repository without requiring
that our practitioners re-enter their project data. By having
our project tools integrated with our portfolio reporting, our
practitioners, champions and managers are able to perform at a
significantly higher level. At the same time, our executives are
able to generate timely and meaningful analysis from our detailed
project data. The end result for us will be shorter project cycle
times, higher quality and improved standardization.”
Jay Holstine, President and CEO of SigmaFlow, said, “We
are delighted to partner with a leading company like Valspar to
confirm the unique value of our solution. Global Six Sigma programs
like Valspar’s are a perfect fit for our distinctive integration
of desktop-based productivity tools, process-centric workflow
management, Enterprise deployment and reporting.”
