January NERC News from SigmaFlow
Like many Utilities, we at SigmaFlow have been putting a lot of thought into how the new requirements in the NERC CIP Version 5 standards will affect industry practices. There are a lot of changes coming from NERC (and FERC), but perhaps the most notable impact will be that most of the utilities and systems that have had little CIP responsibility (no Critical Assets) under version 3 will now fall into the CIP version 5 Low Impact Rating.
