How do I get started with SigmaFlow Coach?
SigmaFlow Coach includes
Getting Started instructions. Simply select the Help
tab. Then select SigmaFlow
Coach Help. The Help window will appear with instructions
on Getting Started.

Can I see a sample project / process in SigmaFlow Coach?
SigmaFlow Coach,
Mapper, Workbench, and Modeler all include sample data that
you can use as an example for your own projects.For SigmaFlow
Coach, select the File
tab. Select Open From.
Then select Example Library.
Choose any of the examples in the file to see an example
of a project / process in Path Manager.

How do I get started with Mapper, Workbench, Modeler?
Mapper, Workbench,
and Modeler include materials to help you get started. Select
the Help tab. Under
this tab you can select any of the following items:
- SigmaFlow
Getting Started – A set of step-by-step instructions
for using Mapper, Workbench, and Modeler.
- SigmaFlow
Reference Manual – A thorough, detailed manual
that covers all of the tools in detail.
- SigmaFlow
Statistics Manual – A detailed manual for
using SigmaFlow’s Statistics Module.

can very easily be upgraded to SigmaFlow Workbench and SigmaFlow

Is SigmaFlow software for the desktop or is it enterprise
software?
SigmaFlow software
can be deployed either on a desktop or across an entire
enterprise.
SigmaFlow Coach has both a desktop version and a web-based
enterprise version. Both have the same power and functionality.
The desktop version of SigmaFlow Coach runs on Microsoft
Windows 2000, XP and NT. SigmaFlow’s Insights (ADR)
enables SigmaFlow Coach’s web-based version to run
across the entire enterprise. Insights collects all of the
SigmaFlow Coach information for use in portfolio management
and reporting. The tools in Mapper, Workbench, and Modeler
run on the desktop and can be activated by either version
of SigmaFlow Coach.

How does SigmaFlow software communicate with other software
and databases?
SigmaFlow uses an
XML file structure and OLE copy/paste to integrate with
other applications.

What file structure is SigmaFlow’s software based
on?
XML file structure
providing structured data output. The data locations in
general purpose tools (such as Word, Excel and Visio) are
ad-hoc and user-defined: making data rollup almost impossible,
and necessitating redundant data entry into an enterprise
management system.SigmaFlow’s Mapper, Workbench, and
Modeler contain defined data fields for Six Sigma, Sarbanes-Oxley,
Simulation and Lean project work. Organizations can easily
extract needed data from the SigmaFlow XML file structure.

How do I install updates to my SigmaFlow software?
SigmaFlow recommends
that you uninstall and reinstall the application completely
to get the latest updates. Going forward, users should be
able to use automatic "Check for Updates" feature
of SigmaFlow.
