Today’s article focuses on evidence management.
Compliance Manager is designed to collect and manage the evidence for all Standards, Requirements, and Sub-Requirements in the NERC 693 Standards.
Included in this functionality is Document Management supporting all document types, one-to-many associations of Evidence Documents to Requirements/Sub-Requirements, and unlimited metadata attributes on Documents.
Compliance Manager includes the 693 Standards, Requirements and Sub-Requirements as part of the content in the solution. The 693 Standards content includes each Standard, Requirement and Sub-Requirement in the NERC 693 Standards along with the description of each from the NERC Standards. Evidence is managed by associating it to one or more of the Requirements and Sub-Requirements included in the solution. SigmaFlow monitors the NERC 693 Standards so that new Standards and Standard versions content can be created and delivered to SigmaFlow customers. Content maintenance is included as part of the licensing for SigmaFlow Compliance Manager.
The solution also has the capability to further automate evidence collection by generating evidence from Reports created in the solution and by uploading evidence from an external source into the solution. Automation for these actions provides the ability to preset Requirement and Sub-Requirement associations and document metadata so that users do not have to know this information or be concerned with collecting and entering properly. This functionality can be used in Workflow Tasks, standalone Tasks and Actions.
